coolest it feels scary

this whole album feels like running away and holding hands with yourself so hard your knuckles split right open. there’s urgency, longing, melancholia, pleading, isolation, freedom, restriction, love. verity susman’s voice is so hypnotic and express so much with so little. fucking insane. the lyrics all feel like a continuous gut punch, or falling. the more electronic songs, like tram 21 and five, keep it sustained, never drifting. my absolute favorites are the greater times, to the ... read more
