just a fun listen, not much else to say :3
i must admit nostalgia may be boosting my score a bit
a veeryy tranquil listen ,
the whole album is one big chill experience :3
it reaches its goal of immersing you into the world that it presents
a classic from goldie . it offers everything that you can expect from one of the top producers of DnB of all time.
definitely on a bit too on the long side ;; Not a problem for me personally, but I can see how it could put off potential listeners once they see that the average track lenght is around 8 minutes . still a good album and a very chill experience // worth the ~2 hours
i don't listen to city pop often but I feel like Taeko Ohnuki can reel anyone into this album with her beautiful vocals.
great songs all around . worth every minute :D
fav tracks ( not sorted )
summer connection
Nani mo Iranai
Tokai
Law of Nature
Silent Screamer
the clown gimmick is totally unnecessary and fucking boring .
there are a few good songs but other than that it's a completely unmemorable experience.
how did I not know that takanaka played a role in the making on this beauty :o
the really unique drum patterns make this ep a really interesting listen :)
only gripe I had with this album was the discontinuity from Mercy Mercy Me to Right On, but now I just accept that they are BANGERS anyways and every fucking song in this album is beautiful.
it's really hard to find a DnB album that is good from end to end, because of how the genre ; especially in the jungle side of things ; is focused most on the time on strong singles that can be mixed well into other tracks,, but the same can't be said for this LTJ Bukem album.
Also I must praise how well the vocals are integrated in the few tracks that have them , they feel very well-woven into the instrumentals.
No misses, all around great tracks :D

really fast paced and catchy tracks, sadly this fun is really short lived because of there only being 3 songs in the project :(
one of the best albums where the guitar is the focus, for me personally it's up there with other virtuosos such as Takanaka :)
What's also great is that even though the guitar(s) shine so vividly, Govan didn't even slightly cheap out with the other backing instrumental aspects of the album : it has great bass, drums, and background guitars.
Only Theatre of Pain is the pioneer of the american goth scene's deathrock music genre. Rozz Williams has great vocals, and their absence really stands out in the band's future albums.
The continuity throughout the tracks gives the album a flow that makes it feel like a complete and well-connected experience.
