Exquisite and tasteful album. Every song shows singular and precious proportions assembled with surprise moments in a perfect amount. This is not an overwhelming album, this is a sophisticated masterpiece who escapes from the "world music" tag and shows itself as a satisfactory reinvention of the brazilian rythmes with a global view.
Fantastic debut. With a very personal approach, Jens "Duvchi" Duvsjö has achieved an intimate still refreshing final result. The acrobatic and gorgeous vocals are perfectly interwoven with the necessary and effective accompaniment. With the World is an album to listen from start to end.
Not as new as it may seem, but the commercial twist of Phase is satisfactory as meritorious.
