It's a wild ride through very strange times... but it's also pretty kickass. A decent live album but nothing stands out far past the studio versions.
Don't Tell The Dog marks James Marriott's official breakout into the mainstream and although I wouldn't say it's anything astronomical, it does still make for a pretty good listen. It's some catchy soft-rock pop with a pretty well composed overall structure, James shows off some of his best singing and a few mind-numbingly catchy lines.
Favourites: Plasticine, Pillow Fight, Ventriloquist.
Least Favourite: Limbs.
I was left starstruck after hearing Chromakopia on release and I can admit that occasionally I will play it and have the exact same feelings as that first listen. It's a massively ambiguous project and Tyler, The Creator manages it incredibly, it is beautifully cathartic and a big step outside of what I'd say a lot of people thought was Tyler's comfort zone. This is not to say that Chromakopia hits the nail on each board, but it definitely comes close.

We Are Not Your Kind is Slipknot's best album and certainly their most critically acclaimed.
