I expected so much more. The songs are, of course, dynamic but they are terribly lacking in nuance in my opinion. I felt like I was listening to the same songs over and over again. On the other hand, we really recognize Tate's style, her confident personality and the way she tells her story ; that's what I appreciated the most.
This was so hard to get through, and I'm so disappointed because I really think it's my taste of music, but I truly just felt like I was listening to the same song over and over and over and over again, there's no nuance whatsoever. His voice sounds cool and some of the songs are quite pleasant to listen to but I won't listen to the album again.
Favorite : tonight you are mine
I wish I could hear them live. Their energy is so great, and I loved the singer's voice. Really good EP. Can't wait for their next project.
I can't lie and say that I did not like the album, some of the songs were really great, but I just felt awkward whilst listening to it, I don't know what it was really-- maybe it's the way he talks about women, or how he tries (so hard) to be the "new Elvis" ? Idk-- So overall not bad, but I won't listen to it again.
