I can't say anything that hasn't been said, the rawest of Kanye's songs on this still feel polished yet so free and experimental. In a world of thug rap, Kanye talks about what he thinks, finds fun to talk about and likes to do what he wants while still boasting in a manner that doesn't feel unrealistic. This is a classic and a must hear album, he solidified himself as a producer and said "That's not all I can do" and proved it.

In my humble opinion, this is the greatest album to ever be made.
To Pimp A Butterfly is an intriguing look into black culture, the treatment of African Americans in the United States, the greed humans can be tricked by, the invasion of the mind by Satan and the parallels between "Luci" or Lucipher and "Uncle Sam" or the USA is amazing. The use of non-conflictive story telling to paint the picture of an African American only for all this proof and evidence to be used in ... read more
