Oh damn, this IS good!

Cole is rapping his ass off here. You can't convince me that Grippy WASN'T a troll song, but going from Might Delete Later to THIS is a little mind boggling. I love this beat too, it's minimalist sound and dreamy keys give it a very relaxed vibe which fits the title and hook of the song. This is definitely a chill smoking song but it's still got a lot of interesting stuff going on lyrically. Especially the last verse, which talks about the fears of AI taking over the music industry... and does it quite well in my opinion. With the cherry on top being the lowkey insane rhyme scheme packed into the entire track which Cole is able to execute without losing focus of what he's rapping about and going into lyrical miracle territory where he'd just be kinda saying things that rhyme. No, he does not lose the plot once in this song.

Yeah, new J. Cole single, I was cautiously optimistic. J. Cole has never been the absolute most consistent rapper in the game and this song's release follows a pretty rough patch in his career musically. I thought it might be good but I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't like it. I was NOT expecting to be giving this an easy 100, but here we are.
