Never thought I'd see current day Peggy with a yellow score.
First of all, I gotta talk about the elephant in the room which is his rapping. For like half this album, Peggy has this lyrical spiritual miracle triplet flow and it gets so boring after a couple of songs. Apart from the song with that Kirk verse, I really don't remember ANYTHING he said. Also I can barely hear him on some of the songs, the instrumentals are usually a lot louder then he is.
The guitars on some of these ... read more
"WE GOTTA PUT ASS ON THE COVER CUS WE'RE CALLED CIGARETTES AFTER SEX!!!!!!! GET IT GUYS????? SEX!!!!!! THE ONLY THING WE EVER TALK ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!"
After listening to their self titled album, I saw they dropped a new song and I wondered if they changed their sound. And they haven't but have at the same time.
The instrumental sounds pretty simple but a lot more fresh, especially the drums. It makes it sound more fresh and alive. The singer's voice sounds less nasally ... read more
Can't wait to listen to this al- 😴😴😴😴😴😴
This album is pure slop. The instrumentals are bang average and then the singer opens his mouth and makes it 10x worse. Might be one of the worst singers of all time, his voice is so nasally and it just doesn't match with the (constant) theme of sex on this album. Gives me creepy vibes.
Speaking of constant, this album does not change at all. It's the same slow, dragged-on theme 10 times. I truly thought I was listening ... read more
This album is the perfect example of diamonds being made under pressure.
First of all, Outside is a phenomenal song and that last part is one of the most intense moments in music I've ever heard. The manic breathing makes it feel like a panic attack.
Hot take but I think Superman That is overrated. I can appreciate it, especially with Groggs being on this track, but I think there's better and more meaningful songs on here.
Ground Zero and Smoke Don't Clear are kinda similar ... read more
Not even gonna give a rating, I just wanna say this cover is WAY fucking better then the original
Ngl, I think this is one of their worst songs. It has grown on me a bit (hence the 80 score) but I still think it's a bit repetitive.
Good, but some songs are super repetitive and feel a bit hollow.
Favs: New I'll Be Right There, loop it and leave it, New Black History, JPEGULTRA!
Least favs: it's dark and hell is hot, Exmilitary, JIHAD JOE, i recovered from this.
My mum loves this album so it kinda hurts to write this lmao
I used to love this as a kid but it's been YEARS since I've listened to it and it's nowhere near as good as I remember it. There are still some amazing songs here tho (mainly Dead!, Sleep and Famous Last Words).
My main problem is that it's too theatrical for me, theatre stuff just isn't my thing. Also, I really don't like his voice on certain songs. For example, his voice on Mama sounds so stupid and ... read more
Wow okay.
This takes all the good things about Nevermind and expands on them. There's a lot more harder-hitting songs which is exactly what I wanted and the lighter songs are a lot more elegant then the ones on Nevermind.
Pennyroyal Tea is one of the best songs I've ever heard. Had to take a minute and register what I just listened to afterwards. Such an amazing song.
I think the lyrics overall on the album are so beautiful, especially on Heart-Shaped Box and Dumb.

Deserves the praise it gets.
I think some of the songs here are a little basic and overplayed (ahem Smells Like Teen Spirit) but overall it is very solid
I wish the album had more faster and aggressive songs like Territoral Pissings and Endless, Nameless because those are some of my favourite songs on this album. (I know Endless, Nameless isn't technically on here but fuck you I'm counting it.)
Polly being the lowest rated song is insane to me, I think that song is amazing. The ... read more
FINALLY listened to a full Beatles album.
For 1966, this is so innovative. The production (especially on songs like Tomorrow Never Knows and I'm Only Sleeping) is decades ahead of it's time.
Favs: I'm Only Sleeping, Eleanor Rigby, Tomorrow Never Knows, Got To Get You In My Life, Good Day Sunshine
Least favs: Love You To, Yellow Submarine
omg, he's actually washed </3
This doesn't make me excited for the album at ALL, if anything it makes me NOT wanna listen to it. Most of the songs are just mid and pretty boring, but that song with Lil Yachty is horrible. Yachty is boring and is on for way too long but Lucki sounds so ass, I don't even know how to describe it but the autotune sounds off and I can barely understand what he's saying.
Favs: U READY!
Least favs: Sex Mula/Pete, BAD* Influence 2
MUCHHHH better then babygirl. I much prefer the guitar in this as well and it sounds a lot more personal then babygirl. However this song doesn't really do anything for me. I think it will hit harder when it's on the album.
