Beyoncé - COWBOY CARTER
57

Need to give it another listen , but couldnt vibe with this unfortunately. The slog through it was worth it for BODYGUARD and YA YA though

CHRIST DILLINGER - There's Evil In This Club
60

I enjoyed this ! went in blind and was honestly shocked from the lyrics/ samples more times than expected. Very funny , very outrageous - that mac demarco sample came out of nowhere and i giggled ngl.

The intros and outros are hilarious and definitely make me enjoy the songs more eg:
- the industrial revolution has been a disaster for the human race
- I have consumed human flesh now i am turning into a Skinwalker
- this song has been funded by stolen oil money

IDLES - TANGK
62

Firmly in the 'IDLES havent done anything great since Joy' camp, I wanted to give this a fighting chance. Such a mixed bag - basically the singles are class, everything else mid.

IDEA 01- 5/10 , good build up but wouldnt listen to it again
Gift Horse - 8.5/10 - great song
POP POP POP - 8/10
Roy - 3/10
A Gospel - 5/10
Dancer - 9 / 10
Grace - 6. 5/10 drags
H&O - 7/10
Jungle - 6/10
Gratitude - 7/10
Monolith - 3/10

piri - about dancing
60

I'm such a piri stan but this was just much less interesting than froge, hope they can come up from there, not sure what went wrong. The lyrics arent as catchy, the production less in ya face

Cliffords - Strawberry Scented
80

I think I'm biased because this band has narrated a great time in my life, discovered them a couple of months ago, have talked to (sound) members in the smoking areas, and seen them as much as possible. They truly are a beautiful live band, even if they are from Cork.

Amyl and the Sniffers - Cartoon Darkness
73

this album is so good but Comfort To Me is better that's it that's the review

Lime Garden - One More Thing
77

catchy, fun , clever, interesting instrumentals, great lyrics, this was a surprising one for me !

Wasia Project - Isotope
75

'Is this what love is' has been listened to on the daily recently

Los Bitchos - Talkie Talkie
60

seen these bitchos live twice and they are a sight to behold, but with no lyrics and songs that are hard to differentiate this record didnt quite hit for me

Cherym - Take it or Leave it
65

this genre is so not for me , but the lyrics are very interesting and it feels very of an era , AND THAT ERA IS MINE

plus im seeing them live tomorrow and i think theyll be good

The Dare - What's Wrong With New York?
70

there is absolutely nothing new about this record but damn she fun like

Nilüfer Yanya - My Method Actor
86

the amount of albums by cool women this year has been unmatched

Charli xcx - Brat and it's completely different but also still brat
82

its crazy that 365 is a remix of 360 and then on the remix album there is a remix of 360 and also there is a remix of the remix of 360 as well

CABL - See You In a Year and a Half
79

stunning stunning stunning v excited for these guys

Geordie Greep - The New Sound
66

i get that greep intended to make his music more accessible than black midi's.
He's speaking more clearly , more slowly using with less complicated lyrics, and softer music

but for me i think his voice and brain better suits the chaos of bm, feels a bit self indulgent

Xiu Xiu - 13" Frank Beltrame Italian Stiletto with Bison Horn Grips
81

how can album be so fun and so scary simultaneously

Kim Gordon - The Collective
71

I want Kim Gordon to adopt me

Rachel Chinouriri - What A Devastating Turn of Events
82

I am updating this rating and review bc i keep coming back to this

what a comfort album , stunning voice, interesting sounds, great lyrics , love it
