Been a while since I've come back to Mr Morale and it still holds up as a great album.
Of course it's good bc it's Freddie, but this feels like a step down in quality from even $$$
I love that April Mixtape 3 brought so many new listeners to Snow Strippers (especially Under Your Spell). Now to rant for a minute, if you think that TikTok popularity ruins underground artists for you, you are a loser. I am happy that Snow Strippers are getting the popularity that they deserve now (1+ mil monthly listeners on Spotify I think), and you should be as well. Being underground doesn't pay the bills.
I come back to this mixtape all the time. The production is *slightly* one-note, but it doesn't get annoying bc the project is pretty short.
Great debut. Tragic Surprise is still my favorite Snow Strippers song.
Really abrasive and loud. Got to see her open for JPEGMAFIA in Chicago in September, which was a great experience.
Good, but I don't think I'm getting what's so special about it yet. I really like Cheerleader, Mona Lisa, and Is There Really No Happiness.
Due to change, but I'm really liking this so far. The production is out of this world.
Edit: 85-93 - After multiple listens, this feels like the most mature album released by Peggy yet. The production is incredible as expected, but Peggy really showed his range. "Either on or off the drugs" is a perfect example of this.
