A valiant effort by the amazing songstress. One of her best albums with exquisite songwriting. This is Me Trying, Illicit Affairs and August are the standouts from this album, clearly demonstrating her songwriting excellence. A wonderful album through and through.
One of the best Kpop albums I have heard. A perfect mixture of heavy base, trap, edm and even light pop sounds. Ironically 'The Album' only consists of 8 songs, which is one its downside. But for their very first album The Album provided what most of their fans want and enjoyable light album for non fans with some stand out songs Pretty Savage and the catchy title track Lovesick Girls.
