Without all the interludes the album would have been a 35, which isn't a lot more but it's something. The album and Jax have potential it just gets dragged down by awful gen Z lyrics, the memes that will be outdated in 2 days and Jax's gravely vocals (which are mostly fine). Relaxing and carefree. The semi-consistent mix of the album allowed me to get swept up in it's Currents. The mixing is sublime, immersing me further into this musical masterpiece. Loved that the first track of the album was a medley of the entire album, introducing you to the whole body of work with one track without the listener knowing. Now this is something I didn't expect! (This is the first time I heard of Barry Can't Swim) I came into this album with zero expectations and came out satisfied. With the feel good tunes, fun and masterfully done house production, this album checks off every box for me. I went on a 6 day journey with this entire compilation album, 1 stage a day. One day I'll listen to the whole thing in one sitting, but today is not that day.
