Undoubtedly the softest, most honest, and thus the most touching album of the year. A confession doomed to have no result, it subverts the conventional logic of emotions, starting with "It's probably good" and ending with "It stuck in my head." The vocals have no chance of overshadowing anything; the instruments are in complete control. A decent gaga song. The insane arrangement and the eye-catching lyrics completely break through the peak of pop music. She's like a priestess dancing under the moonlight. The drumming after the climax is just too exhilarating. Music video of the year.
The sound is very reminiscent of Cassandra Jenkins. The first half of the album is excellent, prioritizing melody and adeptly playing with rhythm—through fast and slow, broken and continuous, rising and falling, and even the transitions between strong melodies and chanting to build its style.
