Muddy production mixes with samey feeling songs to create a lackluster album from Korn. Combine this with its short runtime and you have a contender for the worst Korn album, though my high rating is proof that despite my grievances Korn is still able to pull out catchy choruses and hard riffs even 30 years into their career.
Powerful, raw, disturbing. Korn's debut album changed the world and solidified the Nu Metal genre when it came out. It brought in a new wave of artists that took over the 90s and early 2000s.
There is not a skip on this album, for me, besides the infamous track Daddy.
Korn captured a sound that managed to disturb the comforted and comfort the disturbed and for that I give them my highest recommendation.
