As a huge fan of the band, this is an absolute snoozer. I'll admit TBHC was not my favorite album by them, quite the contrary, but this is even more toothless and uninteresting than that was. I'm just sitting here listening to the drummer thinking he must be bored as hell. If Alex Turner wants to make this kind of music, he should explore a side project with this sound. To me, this is simply a gigantic waste of a talented band.
