"@notrobinson9 If you plan to check Pulver out, I'm just gonna mention that it has possibly some of the worst mixing I've heard from the genre. It's genuinely abysmal. And it really doesn't help at all that the louder the album gets, the worse the mix is, and I'm not even kidding."
"Glad you liked it! Lifelover is a band I have very mixed feelings about, and this EP is honestly their only project worth checking out in my opinion."
"@YungBrad Valid. But I think feeling sympathy for someone through an album makes you feel more "connected" to the project. But after all, most of us rate music projects based in how much we enjoy them. It would be boring if we all rated records based in how "objectively" good we think they are, wouldn't it?"
"@YungBrad I do think this record is very mediocre as a whole, but I think it's a bit insensitive to say it is "not sad". People give this thing very high ratings because how depressing it is, it is almost impossible to not feel empathy or at the very least sympathy, which is enough for most to give it a high score. The lyrics are heartbreaking man, and do you not feel at least a little of pity when listening to this grieving man mourning the death of his wife? Musically it is very poor, and I think a lot of people would think the same. And personally this record doesn't speak much to me, but I completely understand why a ton of people would. As Fantano said, this is art for sure; just not entertainment."
"Eres un enfermo mental sin empatía de ningún tipo, obsesionado con alguien que ya ha demostrado públicamente con ser inocente de todo lo que le acusan, vergüenza te debería dar enfermo, pero sigues con los ojos tapados por quien sabe que cosa, dios esta pipol. (lol)"
