Skinny loser is still my favorite of the singles, but this one is definitely 2nd place. To me it sounds like a much more polished take on what HIVE was trying to do.

Down with the King is the only song on here i can confidently say I love. Most of the others are still very good though. I appreciate pox for being different among the rest of their songs. Unpopular opinion but Aloe Lite is by far their worst song, its just so boring to me.

Very solid first outing

Bit short, but not really a problem. I've loved all these singles, very excited for this album.

I like it. it might grow on me. The vocals in the demo version (which you can find on youtube) were much better imo, it had more energy and I think it fit the song better. I'm still not completely sold on the album, which is sad because I enjoyed the first album quite a bit, and so far Rust just feels like a step down. I guess we'll see!

theres a lot of really great stuff here but i think a lot of the 2nd half is just okay and drags on a bit, (specifically motorcycle boy, sundowner, and horseness).

honestly didn't really like it at first, but in the back of my mind I couldn't help but feel that I was missing something. I had to listen a couple more times until it really clicked.

my spotify discover weekly gave me this. Pretty good id say.

i liked his older stuff but this is so much better. I need album. Give me album. I need more.

Truly life changing. I first got into porter with KYOXD and Cheerleader, and in the months leading up to Smile I listened to his other two albums. And oh my god. I wish I never heard this because now I don't think I'll ever hear anything as good ever again. There are only two songs on here that I'm not a huge fan of, that being do-re-mi and sweet time. I want to give this a 100 but I can't because nurture exists and to say they're equal is foolish. Nurture is on a higher plane. True Ascension. But this is also great. There are some slightly low points for me (PPG, Everything to me) but they're still great and everything else is just so good that I really can't knock that many points off. Is There Really No Happiness might be my favorite song of all time.
