"@DingoEater972 to many others, like How Much a Dollar Cost, Mortal Man, Wesley’s Theory, which have very strong storytelling and you can look more into them later.
You saying that this album has no critical analysis makes me wonder if we listened to the same album. Just analyzing the tracks and understanding them already shows that. And it’s a lot of BS to say people only give it a 100 because they’re afraid of being accused of racism, that it’s performative, etc. This album is analyzed in universities and academically studied, timeless."

"@DingoEater972 You would have to listen with more attention and research more about it, because this album evolves as you understand it. It creates a perfect narrative throughout the album (with the poems, until it reaches the final ‘chapter’, the song Mortal Man). It has a complex musical construction, with jazz, funk, soul, and several rhythmic changes.
The storytelling on this album is absurd, like on the track u, where he is in a mental breakdown because of guilt over the loss of a friend (who is even mentioned in other albums), and he delivers this perfectly, even worrying about placing you inside the scene and making you feel his pain. If you don’t understand this, the song loses its weight, and that applies to many (next coment)"
