College Dropout is Kanye West’s debut studio album, released in February of 2004. It’s a rap album, and I learned via album of the year that it’s considered Chipmunk Soul and Conscious Rap, which are 2 subgenres I had never heard of before.
Prior to listening, I only knew Slow Jamz. My favorite songs on the first listen were All Falls Down, Spaceship, Get Em High, The New Workout Plan. I did not have a least favorite track.

SMILE! :D is Porter Robinson's third studio release, coming out in July of 2024. It’s an Indietronica and Electropop album with Indie and New Wave influences.

It’s a pop album with heavy R&B, trap, and electro-pop influences. It has relatively simple, straightforward instrumentals and is very vocally focused, as Ariana Grande is obviously known for her impressive vocal performances. i really did Not fuck with the first 3 songs on here, but the rest of it grew on me. really fond of do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do and musician. this may not be entirely for me, but i think i just need to give it another chance.
