the thing with all the other chili peppers albums is they’re either very overrated, or so boring and lame that it’s a great album to fall asleep to. however, this album is special in that they try out so many cool sounds with actually entertaining music that it’s hard not to love some of the songs on this record at least a little.

Mario Galaxy Orchestra - Super Mario Galaxy: Original Soundtrack
100

I think this is probably one of this first games I EVER played. And even though i don’t remember much from playing it for the first time, the second time playing it was magical. Oh my god this game is beautiful. The idea of “Mario in galaxy” is so genius and every single level is so amazing to look at. But I can’t talk too much about the game as this is a review for the music. And oh my god they made the soundtrack even more beautiful. I do not think there is a single ... read more

戸高一生 [Kazumi Totaka] - Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Nintendo be like: uhhh yeah let’s make the best animal crossing game and ummm how about, let’s give it the best soundtrack

American Football - Bad Moons
100

i’m gonna cry why is this just randomly the best thing they’ve put out since their first album

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
100

can’t believe how strange it is to be anyone at all

god this album is so beautiful

Slowdive - Souvlaki

okay so the entire time i was listening to this i was just thinking “this sounds like if the singer from the smiths did a shoegaze album”

Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare
100

the issue i have with this album is the songs aren’t that memorable. from my favorite aoat: pretty. odd. (aoat #10) or meteora (aoat #12) have a couple of memorable songs and that’s kind of it. which, you might think is weird of me to say but the reason i love those albums so much is because of they’re theme. even if they have one or two okay songs, the AMAZING songs out weigh it so i kind of just don’t think too much about the bad songs. but arctic monkeys, favorite ... read more

twenty one pilots - Breach

Twenty One Pilots are one of the few bands that I’ve been listening to since I was 10 and still (some-what) listen to today. Trench, in my personal opinion, is one of my favorite albums of all time (aoat #6). But that album is unique especially in the TØP discography. Other artists that have released albums that are on my top ten like Radiohead or Senses Fail, have multiple AMAZING albums. Radiohead with In Rainbows, Kid A, and OK COMPUTER, senses fail with still reaching, let it ... read more

Linkin Park - Meteora

people either say hybrid theory is their favorite album or meteora is their favorite album. those two people have one thing in common: they dont listen to music at all.

that’s why hybrid theory is my third favorite album of all time !!!

metora is a lot more common to hear when people say “oh yeah linkin park has my favorite album ever” and i think that’s for a good reason. what metora has that hybrid theory doesn’t is a lot more awesome computerized instruments. ... read more

The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds

in terms of old music that could be considered “the best” this one i can actually see why it would be considered that. the beatles never really resonated with me but the beach boys kind of do. of the many records that i have, i have two “collection albums”, “the best of beatles” and “the best of the beach boys” and i would always just prefer putting on the beach boys. they just sound a lot more awesome. i’d 100% rather listen to this than ... read more

The Beatles - Abbey Road
90

the issue i have with the beatles is they kinda just don’t… click with me? the beatles are one of if not the biggest rock bands in the entire history of music so ofc i’ve heard this album at least a couple dozen times. but anytime i do i just kind of don’t get it? i’m rating this a 90 bc this isn’t a bad record at all. i was enjoying a couple songs too but they just never really felt like something that i’d love. which is weird because pretty. odd. one ... read more

Green Day - American Idiot
100

i think green day is one of the first rock artists that i ever listened to and really got into. and for a good reason cause omg i love this album so much. usually i think punk like this is kinda boring but THIS one is very interesting and awesome to repeat over and over and

American Football - American Football
97

such a great album. i understand why it’s so influential.

Modern Baseball - You're Gonna Miss It All
80

i think this one is slightly better than the first but there aren’t many songs that really stand out. it’s slightly more punk than the first which is nice because that means it’s less pop but it’s still not really midwest emo in my opinion

Modern Baseball - Sports
80

the thing with this album is the beginning two songs are great but the rest of the album is.. okay? it’s a little more pop than midwest emo which is alright but it’s just kind of forgettable.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
95

its if cherry bomb and chromakopia went out on a date at a italian restaurant, had dinner, chromakopia payed for it, and then they both went back home still thinking about each other so they went on a second date a week later at cherry bombs house and then they both had fun but 1 month later they both find out chromakopia is pregnant and they both decide to stay together and raise the child.

twenty one pilots - Clancy

its not trench but at least its not scaled and icy or too much of a blurryface. there are some misses on this album but overall its not awful

twenty one pilots - Trench
100

this album is so amazing. going from blurryface to this was a MASSIVE jump. its definitely my favorite twenty one pilots albums. every single song is a hit that sounds so well made. in my top 10 maybe even top 5 albums of all time

twenty one pilots - The Contract
96

ofc they put sounds that would come from a video game the week a new deltarune chapter releases

Seth MacFarlane - Lush Life: The Lost Sinatra Arrangements
95

classic pop is one of my favorite genres and the only listenable version of pop (ajr and anything related to modern pop is terrible. my ears and i have grown sadly) and frank sinatra is definitely one of my favorite artists from that genre. but this isn’t frank sinatra. instead, it’s something quite similar in my personal opinion. seth macfarlane has an amazing voice and is perfect for this type of music. it’s basically if franks voice was a bit deeper. it’s unique and ... read more
