(this was the first pop punk/rock album i'd ever heard so keep that in mind) Okay, now I can see why people don't like MGK. this pop punk project from 2 decades ago has so much passion, so much energy and raw emotion in it and it's so. fun. I like this album, it's fun enough (and goofy as hell a lot of the time), but it feels SO TYPICAL of the 90s sometimes. there's no horrible tracks, but there will be ONE weird little vocal choice that'll make or break a song. like the background vocalist just going "BABABABABABABABA" while the main dude is tryna get his point across. It's solid, it doesn't take itself too seriously but that choice causes some of these tracks to sound a little dated. [6.5-7/10]
