The lack of orignality really doesn’t matter when the product sounds this good. Solid, energetic rage tracks that indubitably prop up raininglol to be much more than a cheap clone. If he keeps up this momentum I could see him dropping some amazing stuff, but he isn’t quite there at the moment despite the undoubtedly electric fun factor that this project delivers.
A more refined take on his hard-hitting and hazy while hypnotically melodic established sound. While it lacks some of the charm of London Savior and his superb singles run, it accomplishes the goal of streamlining the typical formula in a way that feels significantly more fresh than redundant. I am hoping, however that his upcoming album strives for more experimentation than this, but I am more than pleased with this release.
