NMIXX thank you for singlehandedly carrying Kpop these past 2 years 🥺 the vocals on this EP are arguably their best ever and the production is actually insane wtf

The production is at its best when it has a similar vibe to re:ly

I haven't really been enjoying much Kpop lately outside of the occasional TWICE or NMIXX song, but I heard Rough somewhere and was just kinda blown away so I thought why not give this EP a listen

This is everything good about that classic Kpop sound, with those delicious ear candy melodies and soft but catchy production. Just simple feel good bangers!!

Title track is good, everything else is just there

First 2 songs are really good, falls off a bit after that

Actually the voice of an angel, very fire production too (especially songs like delayed, insane stuff)

Lowkey this might be top 3 Bladee for me

EDIT: Nvm I changed my mind, not as much replay value compared to other Bladee projects across the entire tracklist outside of the very high highs

Those last 3 songs do a lot of heavy lifting for the rest of this mixtape, pretty disappointing after Love & Ponystep was probably a top 5 aoty for me last year

Feels like Kuru has improved their rapping quite a bit from their previous work, their flows on this album are super good

Really love the production here too, feels like each song has something unique going on in that department which I enjoyoed

Also Lucy physically cannot miss on a feature, actually the voice and words of an angel whenever he has a verse anywhere

Yeah this is awesome

I mean GO! and Fashion are listenable for bg songs... but this really isn't good at all (I only listened to a bg release cuz I have a Kpop dance performance today for an RV song, and listening to random Kpop songs has made me realize just how boring the genre is when it's not a song from like one of 5 actually good girl groups)

Listen to literally anything in the Korean underground scene instead of this pls

Dress is by far the highlight, everything else is pretty good too

I think I finally get Western Union after like 5 listens... the hook IS very catchy (still think it's a bit overrated by people though, prob the best song on this album though)

This is still maybe my least favorite DG release I've heard so far though :(
