I guess this is the most boring kpop album of 2021, and Justin Bieber's "Changes" counterpart in kpop—instrumentally too generic as a whole, but Teddy's production somehow saved the album.
About Pink Sweat$' involvement in the title track and the english b-side, I felt no impact on the latter compared to the former.

Setting aside my biases as a Pre-debut Eggie and an ENGENE, I think this album needs more time for listens than their Border era.

as the kpop industry gets oversaturated with repetitive genre recipes, they really went "savage" for their debut mini-album
from their previous releases, "black mamba" showed their fierce side as they run towards KWANGYA, "forever" showed their innocent and mellow side, and "next level" really showed that they are gearing up more in their color
but as "savage" came into frame, they stepped up their game more to a whole new level
