Interpol by Interpol, not to be confused with Interpol by Interpol released 8 years later. You don't really see a lot of bands promoting their albums through EPs these days, I've never thought this format suited rock music outside of promotion even though bands have been doing that for many, many years. It's sort of like how I associate mix tapes to rap exclusively, simply because I can't imagine an electronic artist calling their project a mix tape when they could just call it an album and make life easier for them. These tracks are a good selection from Turn On The Bright Lights with 2 of my favorite tracks from the whole album and a nice B-side that matches the energy of the first 2 quite well. Obviously since it has those 2 perfect songs the score for this one is quite high and it is sort of cheating. Well there's not much that can be done about that.
