Damn, this is actually a great mixtape. Bangers all the way through and solid production by Lex Luger. Hardly more than a half-baked attempt to come back at Kendrick.

The rare decent moments on this mixtape are mostly carried by the production. The way J. Cole spits the same flow on every song and maintains low energy really speaks to how much he cares about anything he's rapping about 😭

Kendrick managed to put more energy into a single verse than Cole did on this whole album, also the diss track was super corny as he relies on goofy ass references that sound like playground insults.
