horny the album. that's it.
joke's aside, i liked this release. most of them are bops and it definitely is very distinct from his previous releases that you can tell them apart. very different in terms of sound, and how the lyrics were composed. i do agree with some reviews that he could've expanded on more ideas because the topics the album touches get repetitive (not getting over someone and being horny for them) unlike his previous releases
i really had such a fun time listening to this album. one of the best releases this year so far. i loved how loud and fun the songs are, which i missed a lot in music.
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS ALBUM!!! The way one song transitions from another is just so perfect. It's not jarring in the slightest. The synths in this album sound so magical, making every song feel like a dream.
this album just scratches that itchy part of my brain that craves electropop music. i have no words i can use to explain how amazed i am with the production. listening to the whole album makes me feel like i'm ascending.
i love how the songs in this album sound so familiar and also experimental at the same time, but it also somehow sounds so messy (in a good way) and clean at the same time.
this album is definitely one of the best releases for the year 2026 for me.
the EP is quite solid but in a way that brings nothing new to tha table / doesn't really break any barriers which is honestly okay. and while i do think that the title track, ice cream, does the heavy lifting for the whole EP, i do think that the rest of the songs are quite good to just mindlessly listen to (in a positive way.
this is the album that introduced me to valencia grace, and i have to admit that it got me hooked. i love how outlandish (compliment) her music is without sounding messy.
needless to say, i'll be diving into her discography and i'm excited!
the album is definitely a vibe, and it's so good to listen to the whole album. every song fits the album perfectly, and it sounds cohesive too. overall, a good album. not a standout nor is it groundbreaking when it comes to the genre, but is a solid album nonetheless.
joji seems to be emulating his old sound but it didn't seem to work this time around. the songs are good individually, but as an album, it doesn't sound so cohesive.
the band came back with a bang!
you can definitely hear elements from each of their own solo works being incorporated in the album, and it's so good how they blend it all together and make it work. it sounds different from ivos pre-unique leaving, but it also sounds so very ivos... if you get what i mean.
it's a relatively easy listen, and most of the songs made it to my september playlist. nothing groundbreaking, but also nothing unlistenable.
i'm a newbie to Turnstile and i could honestly, without a doubt, and without bias say that this album is perfection
some of the songs from this playlist did make its way to my playlists, but over all, i still feel like it's lacking something. still, i do like the album.
definitely one of the most interesting and captivating albums i've heard so far this year.
discovered yuele today and i cant stop playing this particular LP. definitely a good starter for someone who's new to indietronica / trip hop / glitch pop.
the album was relatively good, although it lacks cohesiveness to me. i particularly liked 'tears in my pocket' and 'do you even think about me'.
there seems to be a rise of hyperpop/synthpop/electropop-esque type of music lately (which i think would be thanks to charlixcx for putting the genre into the mainstream. i love it.)
