Man this is peak Kanye. The production, the rapping, the storytelling, everything is so on point. There's so many standouts, with only a few songs falling short of incredible. The skits are also much more tolerable than on his previous project. Kanye's third and possibly most iconic album is also my favorite of Kanye's project and might just be my favorite album overall. Firstly, yes, Barry Bonds is subpar and Drunk and Hot Girls is not great, but despite that, every other track is so stunning I can overlook these flaws. This album is so comforting and peaceful, I just can’t help but be at ease when listening to it. It sounds simply incredible. Frank's singing is so beautiful as is the production and there is not a single point at which I feel it sounds abrasive or unwieldy. Not to mention the story Frank tells which is vulnerable to the point it feels like he pulls you into his life and you experience the events alongside him, no doubt in part to the relatability of it all.
