Waterparks - IF LYRICS WERE CONFIDENTIAL

this one grew on me after a few loops. think more than anything this song was meant for awsten to vent frustrations with the parx fanbase, which he has to deal with more than the rest of the band as the frontman and most active member in the public. crazy to have been on twitter during the whole pregnancy bullshit and to now hear him reference it in lyrics. not my fave but don't think its entirely awful ? i also generally have a soft spot for the angrier more commentary heavy parx tracks ... read more

heard this album yesterday at a listening party i went to purely for fun w an old friend! i spent many years in love w this band but haven’t kept up much with the newer albums/storyline so i was nervous i’d feel like a poser but i am so glad i went. energy in the room at the end of city walls was INSANE. haven’t been able to keep up w story much but seeing the dedication the band have had to it and to the theatrics is so cool. need more of it forever. this album will probably ... read more

Hayley Williams - Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party

reviewed when the singles all dropped but this is my album of the year. dead serious. can not be topped.
the rollout is already so beloved to me, such a fun process up to the official album release. it was such a fun way to put out truly amazing music. but the ALBUM? oh my god. an incredible rollercoaster of emotions and masterfully written lyrics.
faves are definitely zissou, true believer and ice in my oj but theres not a single bad track on here imo.

Sabrina Carpenter - Man's Best Friend

some of yall are way too shocked this album is full of sexual innuendo when that isn’t sabrinas whole thing but whateverrrr …. very solid album clearly made in the heat of the moment and simultaneously tongue and cheek and vulnerable . thumbs up
stand outs: tears, my man on willpower, nobody’s son + when did you get so hot?

Hayley Williams - Parachute

another devastating hard hitting track . thank u hayley williams. also feels very much like a good closer/epilogue to the album and contrasts the tone of i won’t quit on you so well. love the spite and sense of learning lessons and moving on in this

twenty one pilots - Drum Show

i think the way they used the first time josh has been on lead vocals in such a perfect way for this song and i really liked how overpowering the drums were . this truly is josh's song and i fw it . loved the mv too

Chappell Roan - The Subway

i keep winning this new music friday/birthday in unimaginable ways. if this would've come out a year ago it would be my most streamed of all time and i think i would've taken longer to get over it. shoutout my neighbours in saskatchewan

Hayley Williams - EGO

hayley williams just really dropped one of the best albums of 2025 on a random monday. incredible. been so excited for whatever she's had cooking since mirtazapine last week and i am so overjoyed by what she's given!! especially the method of which she released this one, out of the blue with a hair dye drop on a website designed like a 2000s desktop. standouts are definitely true believer, edaabp, ice in my oj, kill me, mirtazapine and hard! not a single bad track though, so excited ... read more

Michael Clifford - SIDEQUEST

this record is brief but packs a PUNCH!!!! GOD DAMN!!!!! i’ve dabbled in 5SOS so i was curious what michael had cooking and Woah . very vulnerable honest record that gives me a feeling he’s been wanting to get some of this stuff off his chest for a While . the songs feel honest but the lyrics are still wrapped in metaphor which keeps things interesting . eclipse was at least a stand out to me, caught me very off guard at the end of first listen in the best way and did make me tear ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS

fun as hell!! a really good chronological experience, with things winding down a bit at the end that almost feels like the end of a night out with a hint of intoxicated spiraling. this album i feel like serves best as a full set but regardless of what playlists we put the songs into theres a reminder of where we are in the moment (with the frequent reminders to Not tap the glass) also outside of the music on its own the idea with this album to dance like nobody is watching in a time where ... read more

ReneƩ Rapp - Why Is She Still Here?

loved how the singles for this album have showcased her RANGE !!! not my favourite but her vocals in this are incredible as always

Waterparks - RED GUITAR

scrumptious weird synth-y chorus layered production i have loved to see from parx before and am happy to see again ! guitar solo is crunchy and spiky and i love it . interesting introspective track that sets the tone for the next album so perfectly and i’m looking forward to whatever they’re gonna do next .
