Once upon a time, on a dark stormy night, I was laying in bed staring at my cardboard cut-out of Gene Ween when I choose to grab a light snack.

Pink Elephant is a massive waste of time. Arcade Fire has been on a streak of mostly snoozers these past few years, but this prevails as the most charred in the Tire-Fire. The electronic direction is respectable, but most of the time leads the compositions to be simple, repetitive, and generally uninteresting. Flagman is a pretty interesting "underground" 3-piece, digging their paws into Antipop-era-Primus and even System Of A Down at times (Bombs Away). The bass work across the 20 minutes slaps (literally) and the guitar writing keeps up with the off the rails energy strewn about Tastes Incredible. While a few of the songs here are underwhelming, and that isn't supported by the short run-time, I think the album is worth a nibble of your time.
