such a fun live album that really makes you feel like you’re there in the room (basement?) w Mitchell and friends. great vocalist that sounds just as good live as recorded and the twin size lake parody is funny enough for people to enjoy even if they don’t know the original song

only less than 100 bc I think the super deluxe actually does only make it better. I really dig the experimental nature of this release and letting the listener see into the artist’s process. you worry it might seem like overkill (FOUR memaria’s??) but there’s unique qualities to the repeat tracks that make each one feel special and earned in their own right. I also love the emotional journey this gives from start to finish, great throughline for relationships and healing.

this was my favorite of the Mitchell Matthews canon for a while. love the imagery and softness this one evokes. it feels so intimate and loving, makes you wanna fall in love w this guy
