As expected, Panik Records cannot make a decent album/EP to save their lives. It's a pity they released it without any promotion because here in Greece it has made zero noise. They wanted to reheat Marina's nachos but they failed. Poor Klavdia deserves better...
The EP is decent. Asteromata is definitely the stand out song but Sintrimmia was a pleasant surprise, definitely the second best track in my opinion. Nyxta Mou Megali was also a cute track and it showcased Klavdia's ... read more
The brand new album of Marina is more mature version of her EP, POP. While POP TOO remains playful and witty, it has more mature vibes. The blending of the different genres showcases Marina's artistry and versatility. She doesn't settle in just one style and she is not afraid to pave the way for something new in the greek music scene. Everyone can find a song to their likeness in the album. Are you in the mood for something fun? Blouzaki? Do you want an unapologetic girlbop? LOLA. Do ... read more
Meh. This had the potential to be better but it's too repetitive and bland to become a proper dance hit.
There is definitely improvement compared to Warning Signs. At least Gravity sounds like a complete song and has a better build-up. But overall, I wouldn't say it's a hit. It has some nice experimental touches and it feels like a Loreen song but the production still sounds kinda outdated. It's a nice song, nothing more and nothing less.
Fantasy is a great song. Admittedly, it's not my favourite single so far but I definitely vibe with it. The production is decent and it makes sense why they would go for something more radio friendly. It's safe but it still feels like a Jade song, if you know what I mean.
For me, it doesn't have the same replay value like Angel of My Dream or Midnight Cowboy had but I still enjoy it. I think they could have done more things with the production but that's fine. Jade has ... read more
This is easily one of the best songs in her discography. What an energetic, fun song. The production is amazing and her voice is mesmerizing. The intro is just puuurfect. I can't get enough of this song.
Meh. It's by far better than Tears but it's still a pretty mediocre song. Not horrible but not amazing either. I am not a big fan of the production and the song gets kinda boring after a while. Although I prefer songs which are long, this is one of the rare cases when a song could be better had it been shorter (say 3 minutes long instead of almost 4). It's clear that they added more vocals since fans demanded it but they go nowhere. The climax at the end needed more build-up, ... read more
This is by no means bad but it's not great either. It's too short, it doesn't have a proper climax and the production sounds outdated. It's a typical EDM track that could have been sung by anybody. It seems like an unfinished demo of a great song that was never released. I know that Loreen will most likely kill it in her live performances by adding more instruments and making it longer but what's the point if the original version is so different?
Although I ... read more
Käärijä returns with another banger! This is definitely one of my most favourite of his post-ESC releases. I love the production and the sound mixing and his voice sounds so good (especially in the softer parts). The bridge before the ending makes me ascend.
This is by no means a bad song. It has a very decent production. But it's nothing groundbreaking either. It's a generic sad-boy song and although it had the layers of a good song, overall it feels like a missed opportunity. They could do something more with the beat to make it catchier. And in my opinion, the lyrics sound too cheesy and clishe, they could be better but since this song is supposedly about his girlfriend, I cannot judge how he expresses himself. The song would also ... read more
Once again she releases a song while trying to play the victim but oh well.
Objectively, the song is not terrible. The production is quite mid and repetitive but it's catchy and the lyrics have more depth. Still the song is not phenomenal and it becomes quite boring after a while.
Well, I'm sorry but it's clear that Noa hasn't studied pop culture. Otherwise, she wouldn't try to break through international market with such poor excuses of songs. I am a fan of fun pop dance songs. I really am. But when the song is as uninteresting, uninspired and cringe like Ba Da Bing, count me out. The whole song sounds rushed, it's as if they didn't even try to make something good (which they did). The whole production is boring and repetitive, the lyrics ... read more
It's fun I guess but it gets annoying pretty quickly and has no climax. And it's not that different compared to the rest of her songs which is not bad per se but it kinda gets too boring. The lyrics are too immature for me, I think that she's trying too much to appear as a "girl boss" artist but it fails somewhere.
It's been three weeks since it's release and I still haven't processed Luchtballon. From the moment I listened to the snippets from TikTok, I was just obsessed and I could barely contain my excitement.
It's very rare for ESC artists to meet the expectations of fans when it comes to their post-ESC singles. But that is not the case with Joost. With this single, that is a PERFECT follow-up to Europapa, we get to know him better. The lyrics are once again so well-written and ... read more
First of all, I'll start by saying that I'm appalled at the fact that it took sooo long for Loreen to release a follow up single for Tattoo. I understand that she had been recording more music in the summer and she had various performances but come on, was it that difficult to take advantage of Tattoo's success and ride the hype?
Back to my review: this single is not bad but I don't find it that good either. Admittedly, it's something very different compared to Loreen's previous songs, since ... read more
