introspective, vulnerable, banging pop album. lorde does it again... this would have been a good follow up to melodrama, and im not even a solar power hater (meridian hall 2022, unreleased glasto 2022). some of the lyrics strike as a little cringe, but isnt that also part of taking this sort of risk and being authentically lorde? i might revisit this review again soon, but right now im not understanding the themes of gender queer-ness.

not my fav, too grimey/grating and like screamy/hard for my liking. im all for digicore and edm but this was like a bit too far on my scale. i liked fadeoutz the most
