Pleasantly suprised. Not a fakemink fan as i find the vocals to be too chipmunky for me but there is a lot of great production and where his vocals do work for me the songs sound great. Could do without the 7min interlude though. Fav tracks: creep, rewind, wrong relief, forget me not
Ironic that experimental rap feels like his least experimental. After Since i met ye, it seems like peggy stops trying to be "experimental" and returns to previous sounds that i enjoy a lot more its just a shame its a chore to get there. Fave tracks: mask on, lights, new era, no strippers in heaven.
I truly believe this is one of the best trap albums. So much energy in the vocals and flows and the beats are so bouncy. The lyrics can be funny, serious and sometimes insane. He took the best parts of thug, continued to develope his own artistry and it all comes together here. I think he is hugely underrated. Fav tracks: Viking, Roll wit me, Anaconda living, All the way, Everyday, Stay away from trouble, Sylvan road ridin down hill, Mirror picz, Waikiki.
Inventive and fun. Similar to 333 with the whimisical and ethereal soundscape. Bladee continues to sound fresh, whitearmour prod is amazing and bladee is doing a lot with his vocals here. The draugrs from skyrim being sampled on highland tyrant is a nice addition also. Standouts for me were: Versailles Flow, Highland Tyrant, Durins Bane and Scab.
