One of my favourite artists, JPEGMAFIA has finally returned. This album is definitely different, the singles had me convinced that this would be a lackluster snooze fest that has no true JPEGMAFIA authenticity, just him being corny and edgy ever since working with Ye. I am happy to see that he is indeed still corny (but i love that about him) and that this was way different in comparison to my expectations. I was a little bit underwhelmed about the consistency of the record (considering its ... read more
Record is a bit of a sleeper, considering its length, but has some fun features and rnb hits.
loving this switch-up.
genesis owusu so fire.
love my aussie brethren
If the album was made by Paramore, the record would be called Hard Times.
Hard times gonna make you wonder why you even try!
you cannot make my hips hurt from grooving, and then make my cry in the same record
charli xcx if she made the soundtrack for the 2016 suicide squad film but it was made in 2013 instead and she had all of her technical abilities from nowadays but she was in her true romance era and chronically online.
On first listen I was super underwhelmed, having anticipated Fcukers debut record for ages after discovering them through Danny Brown. Twas a slog of a start to the record, but overall it manages to pulls through towards the end into a satisfying finish. I will say, this record does not do anything new, it does not re-invent or push boundaries, it is a very safe, very generic dance record, with the Fcukers flair sprinkling throughout it to give it that kick of uniqueness.
I really hope they ... read more
___. Get it? Underscores... like the symbol on the keyboard. 🎧🎧🎧 I AM SO LUCID right now, underscores is such a big part of my musical dna, ever since 21' so ts got me emotional twin.
I never had a single doubt about April. Wallsocket is one of my favourite albums of all time, alongside fishmonger, so I had ZERO DOUBTS or concerns about Underscores' new and improved sound. THE SINGLES WERE ALSO INCREDIBLE, had them shits on loop for a whole ass year.
This is definitely ... read more

how old is nettspend.
never thought that i would be happy that nba youngboy was a feature, a nice moment to breathe.
this music sounds like de-evolution.
this is unpleasant, unlike jane remover
actual white noise.
second half of the record is the evident standout, the production actually gets quite nice.
moments of bliss.
maybe i am too unc to understand.

I lead with a statement, and a question!
I hate this album cover! (statement)
Is this the direct consequence of fumbling a bad bitch? (question)
BEFORE I FORGET, is definitely better than I thought it would be. I surprisingly enjoyed 3 to 4 songs off this record. The Kid Laroi succeeds at encompassing the "I am 14 and this is deep" energy.
Positive though, his song-making and singing has improved a lot since my last endeavor into his sadboy slop.
Not my favourite genre of music, but this is really something beautiful, cozy and sexy, though it feels a bit bloated towards the end.
Loved the Tierra Whack, JID and Trombone Shorty contributions, they really elevated their tracks!
My first ever purchase of artist merchandise was a Gorillaz tee, I absolutely adored this t-shirt and would where it everywhere I went. I even remember wearing it to school camp... anyways, Gorillaz is back, finally. Beautiful, introspective and cathartic. Those words encapsulate the embodiment of this record.
There is not too much I can say, the art sincerely speaks for itself. I would not be surprised if this was Gorillaz last record... i would obviously be so upset if that were the case ... read more
Bruno Mars returns with a solo silk sonic-y sounding project... it is very much Anderson Paak inspired, obviously. It is smooth, it is jazzy, it is cozy, and it is good.
I do wish we had them old Bruno Mars "Unorthodox Jukebox" sounds, as that era was way less serious, less pretentious and all about being sad and having fun, and IMO, that is way more interesting than anything Bruno has put out in the last decade.
