Not a bad album by any means, but far from being my favorite Lynch project, you have a few very good songs that holds up well to this day but overall i feel that Lynch was still finding their sound, Hazuki voice still amazing tho.
After listening to the whole album twice and careful consideration this is my favorite tracks from top to bottom:
Asteroid 8.5/10
Want to 8/10
Stargazing 8/10
Awkward 7.5/10
Hearts dont care 7/10
We’re right 7/10
Honesty 6.5/10
Should we 6.5/10
Life and other myths 6/10
Drop 6/10
Overall: 71/100
Despite having some of my favorite SiM songs in here like Devil In Your Heart, Diamond and Captain Hook. i always felt this album never throughly clicked with me like Pandora, Seeds of Hope and The Beautiful People did.
SiM went out of their comfort zone on this one and its clear they reinvented themselves and I applaud them for that, but I dont agree with some of their writing choices on a few track's.
Still a solid project with a high replay value.
Alongside Pandora this project ties it up for me as my second SiM album ever, a lot of bangers on this one and it still holds up very well to this day.
SiM first ever album! You can see traces of who the sound they would eventually start to make but this is by far their most Reggae themed project, not as heavy because of that but you still have bangers like TxHxC in here, solid album but not my favorite SiM project
Revisiting all SiM allbums and Seeds of Hope remains my favorite project they ever put out, top to bottom solid album.
Started to listening this band recently, this was my very first project i heard from them, and tbh i expected way less
Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised, the song Basilisk is actually a banger, i recommend anyone to give this a shot.
Holy sh** I went in with low expectations but this SUCKED, nothing stands out from this album, the best parts of it is carried by the features, complete waste of time.
What a genius way of doing old school death metal with a modern/new feel to it, Crypta is one of the best new metal bands I heard in awhile, looking forward to their next project already.
Overall not bad, but nothing particularly stood out for me, my favorite track on this was Eternal Spirits everything else is just “meh”.
Faking it: 6/10
Eternal Spirits: 8/10
Defiance: 6/10
November: 6.5/10
Lights Out: 7/10
How To swim down: 5.5/10
Be My tomb: 6.5/10
Pillar in the Sand: 6/10
To Wilt Beneath the Weight: 6/10
Really wished they added more new songs, its basically a compilation of the singles they released this year.
Sound wise its ok, nothing mind blowing specially if you already heard all the singles multiples time before, definitely expected more.
SiM is back!!! After 3 years from their last Album they are back with a bang.
Due to an increase in their popularity after “The Rumbling” and “Under The Tree” achieved worldwide success I was curious to see what they would come up on this project.
The Singles “Red”, “Kiss of Death”, “Hide and Seek”, “Do The Dance” and “Under The Tree” all are unique and have a very different sound from one another. SiM is ... read more
Been following this band for 2 years now, I really enjoyed their first album “Girl’s reform manifest” and was looking forward on what their upcoming project would deliver, and, I was not left disappointed.
They managed to improve their sound structure and also the tracks on this new album is mixed better than their first album imo, I also liked how more heavy they sound in songs like “TOUSOU” but also making the cutesy idol aesthetic on songs like “Be the ... read more
