Review #16
Process by Sampha is a UK, Art Pop, R&B album. Sampha's vocals are absolutely beautiful across this whole project and the production is heavenly. It's hard to say that I'd come back to it on a normal day because the atmosphere makes me feel tired (in a good way of course). Though almost all of the songs are great. The only track I didn't enjoy that much was Under and it's because of the Intro and Outro. Sampha was my first introduction into the UK R&B scene and the production on this makes it feel hard to call R&B but I don't know what else it would be. I guess that's why it's labeled as Alternative R&B. This is just an impressive, dreamy, great debut album and I am excited to get the chance to relisten to Lahai because I remember personally enjoying that project more.
