Falling Back and Liability have are some of my favorite drake songs ever and because of that every once in a while i get tricked into thinking that this album is actually good and upon listening i get hit with a harsh reminder that everything else on this album is unbearably mid.
Jimmy Cooks was cool and the end part of Calling My Name was catchy though.
Literally any other song you can think of sounds like a fork scraping on a chalkboard compared to this.
Ok Computer? absolute ass
GKMC? GARBAGE
Literally anything in the AOTY top 100? 0/10
this truly is the pinnacle of music, and something that we won't even get even close to in terms of artistry any time soon
His most cohesive and experimental album ever. It's just fantastic!
in all seriousness it's not even february and we already have a strong contender for AOTY. it actually is his most cohesive and best work to date, and the fact that he's able to actually make a 22 song album engaging the entire way through says a lot.
I could go more in depth but i'd be repeating what everyone else has said about the album. An amazing album all the way through.
kanyes mumbling again
im killing myself

on a real note this album is okay until you realize that this is the same guy that made MBDTF and TLOP
I think he should stop trying to put out an album in like 7 months and take maybe a few years to cook an album
jaydes fell off so hard why did he have to be a freak with a 14 year old girl ts breaks my heart
there really isn't a whole lot to say about this that others haven't already said. all but one song on this LP is an almost immediate skip upon repeated listens. the vocals on this, while okayish at times is completely downplayed because the mixing is absolute shit. the last song is pretty okay though so i'll give him that i guess
excluding every tom mcdonald album that floods the bottom rankings of AOTY, Showa by The Gerogerigegege is rated to be the 100th* worst album of all time.
and honestly i think the idea of this album is pretty funny. to put it simply, in January of 1989, one of japans most respected leaders, emperor Hirohito Showa passes away to duodenal cancer. this album was released shortly after to bait people still grieving the late emperor into buying 39 uncut minutes of hardcore porn.

Listen little kiddies let me make this quite clear,
this man was around before you were here.
So what? You're all mad? Cuz the man was a lyricist?
While all your rappers are mumbling gibberish?
No, go ahead and shut your mouth.
Better yet, go and sit your butt in time out.
Cuz boy was running laps even before you could walk.
