I did NOT expect this to be so good. Never regarded OG Eastbull as much of an artist with depth with the exception of a couple lines but on "Cel mai frumos show" he proves himself as one of the wisest and most gifted artists out right now. All the features bang as well, even artists I don't typically like such as Petre Stefan, Aerozen and M.G.L. all do their thing
Best Songs: Cel mai frumos show, Fato ma minti, Victoria, O zi prin cartier, Campion
Worst Songs: Mowgli, Pentru tine ... read more
Disc 2 is some of the best music of the year, "Nobody Knows My Struggle", "Crossed Out" and especially "Show of Hands" even if it is carried by Rocky are some of the best Future songs period. Disc 1 is some of the most forgettable songs of the year, forgot more than half of them not even 5 minutes after listening.
Best Songs: Show of Hands, We Still Don't Trust You, Nobody Knows My Struggle, Drink N Dance, Red Leather
Worst Songs: Overload, One Big Family, Luv Bad ... read more
The debut album by Romanian group "PASARILE NU EXISTA" is a highlight of the indie scene with it's instrumentals and the album as a whole is a very smooth and fun listen with a few breaks inbetween that range from silent skips to songs I wouldn't show my emo friends. Another main issue I had with the project we're the vocals, the more calm singing on a song like "La NON-STOP" is way better than the harsh, typical rock vocals on a song like "MAI BUN DECAT EI", which ... read more
Bvcovia's newest album is his most heart touching material yet and with this he has proved himself as the most mature artist in the RoTrap scene. While the features from Petre Stefan, Cruz and Sami G could've been easily replaced with verses from artists like Azteca or Oscar but the others, especially M.G.L., who drops his career highlight, the best song he will ever drop with a beat drop that sounds like it was made in heaven and the album also has an unexpected verse from Vlad Dobrescu which ... read more
Quadeca is the best artist to come out of YouTube, prove me wrong. Quazinski brings out the most emotional, hype and chill songs of 2024 though if I had to say a negative I thought the features we're unnecessary.
Best Songs: EASIER, WAY TOO MANY FRIENDS, PRETTY PRIVILEGE
Worst Songs: U DON'T KNOW ME LIKE THAT, BEING MYSELF
Edit: 80 --> 90
Honestly Quadeca has created a timeless masterpiece, so much more replay value than something like FMTY or even IDMTHY, a beautiful soundscape ... read more
AAAGHH ALBUM OF THE YEAR, or maybe not we'll see. I have become a Future fanboy ever since I listened to his mixtape Monster and let me say, the hype for this album was off the charts and it delivered. Future's kinda monotone delivery on almost every song did disappoint a little since i was expecting more energy from Future but Metro delivers on the production side, giving us some of his best beats imo. Obviously, the main attraction is the song "Like That" which is also my favorite ... read more
After the disaster that was Portal, Amuly returns with what is possibly his most enjoyable, replayable and well-written album yet. From the great features to Amuly's hard hitting verses, on most songs he's actually the best part of them, the only ones who outshine him being Super Ed and Macanache but with legends like that it would be impossible to do better than them. Amuly's beat selection is also better than ever, I did expect the project to go more in a Deliric, Vlad Dobrescu kind of sound ... read more
Oscar's debut album proves to me and to everyone else that Osky can deliver songs with strong themes and lyrics like "Timpu Zbora" and "Aripi" which both have great features from Deliric and Amuly respectively but that he can also make an album with no focus and some downright shitty songs (Gheata) and an over-reliance on features when on most songs they aren't needed.
Best Songs: Timpu' Zboara, Aripi, Ultima
Worst Songs: Gheata, Tunechi
