This album perfectly hits that spot of my brain that likes pop music. TPS succeeded in creating a haunting, melancholic sound while still maintaining the cheerfulness of electronic pop . The whole album gives me a sense of familiarity when I listen to it, I guess that's because they are a pioneer for this genre and a lot of music that comes after it was heavily influenced. Taking into account the year this was made I'd say that this is definitely a classic. A solid 90.
very transformative
lore friendly
this album tells a story that must be heard and paid attention to. it progresses nicely in its stages and sets the stage for the grand scheme
rip kai, shoutout master chief, humanity lives to see another day.
Gaseous soundtrack for a game.
The only reason I played the game is because I heard Jared Emerson-Johnson produced it.
