AMERI

Tras mucho tiempo de espera y de meter hype, Duki saca AMERI, un proyecto que iba a ser muy íntimo y personal, algo asi como una maxima en su carrera. En concepto suena bien, pero una vez fuera este album se siente muy plano e inconsistente. Algunos de los temas "profundos" si que están presentes, pero son tan minoritarios dentro del disco que no se sienten protagonistas ni importantes. Los features, excepto Ovi y Lucho SSJ, no destacan, no se sienten necesarios ni son buenos, solo añaden mediocricidad a las letras de Duki. Las letras son muy malas, la mitad de las barras son corny y la otra mitad no tienen mucho sentido o son muy básicas. Lo único salvable de este album es la producción, que no es mala, solo demasiado genérica, lo que le impide destacar en la mayoría de las canciones. Lo siento mucho por los fans de Duki, tanta espera por un proyecto tan mediocre y disperso.

After waiting a long time and hyping this project a lot, Duki drops AMERI, a project that was supposed to be super personal and a big standout his career. It sounds good in theory, but once the album is out, it feels really flat and inconsistent. Sure, there are some "deep" tracks, but they’re so few that they don’t feel like the main theme of the album and lack importance. The features, except for Ovi and Lucho SSJ, don’t stand out, they feel unnecessary and their verses are pretty weak, just adding to Duki’s mediocre lines. The lyrics are really bad; ; half of them are corny, and the other half don’t make much sense or are way too basic. The only decent thing about this album is the production, it’s not bad, just super generic, which stops it from standing out in most of the songs. I really feel for Duki’s fans,waiting so long for something so mediocre and directionless.
