The album is over all quite good but the absurd amount of interludes is annoying. In terms of themes, it puts light on the nature of humanity and the hedonistic side of things. There are a lot of standout tracks that are great as singles such as Ascension or Saturn Barz, but I feel like the album serves as more of a medium for collaboration than a "real" Gorillaz album.
