This EP is only four minutes long, so it's quite hard to review reasonably. However, the raw emotion on display throughout is unmatched in nearly any other music I've listened to. The muted vocals and simple instrumentals made of solely acoustic guitar add to the raw expression of despair that this EP embodies. The best example of this is the fifth entry: a clear standout for me, that feels like more of a full song than other tracks from the EP, with its deeply melancholic melodies and dark lyricism. I haven't listened to other music by jaydes, but I hope that him or someone else has tried this raw, acoustic style, and expanded it into a full project.
SIDE NOTE: I'm separating the art from the artist, similar to how I'd review a Kanye West project. I am aware of the allegations made against jaydes.
