Reading reviews for this album that are over a decade old make me realise just how cruel the world was to Michael Jackson. In my opinion this album is a masterpiece as are his other records. It was not recorded to be catchy or rhythmic or pleasant. It is a bold critique of the world, the media, and the elites. I wish I had the guts to openly speak about issues with the same fearlessness that Michael Jackson did.

rediscovered this album a few days ago. I have been listening to it on repeat. I absolutely LOVED this album when i was 12 and I am happy to say that I still do. Narrated For You brings me so much joy and comfort.

SO GLAD I DISCOVERED ZIFERBLAT THROUGH EUROVISION 2025- THEY ARE AMAZING ARTISTS AND I LOOOOVE THEIR UNIQUE VIBE. BIRD OF PRAY AND PLACE I CALL HOME ARE BOTH SOOOOO GOOD.

i know this album has been VERY poorly received HOWEVER i don’t think it is as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Sure the lyricism is bad and the album lacks a story, but the production is clean, the features are good, the melodies are catchy, and the vibes are powerful. I think for what it’s worth Alter Ego is a solid album for upbeat easy listening. It doesn’t need to be incredibly rich with meaning for it to be good.

I love nothing more than ambient music that scares me a little. I adored preachers daughter and i REALLY like the new route Ethel Cain takes in this album.

Its artistry is clever and daring. It's less about music and more about emotions, piecing together sounds to create feelings, rather than to sound appealing.

Minnie is PERFECT for darker Alt-pop concepts. Blind Eyes Red is a solid title track, HER has an interesting melody but I lowkey dig it, Drive you crazy is sooo groovy, Cherry sky's vocals are ethereal, Valentine's dream's instrumental is incredibly soothing, Its okay has a really nice relaxing vibe and Obsessions instrumental is the perfect upbeat outro. Overall, this EP is very solid and my favourite solo release to come from the (G)I-DLE members. Great way to start 2025!

I really really like this EP- yves is so perfect for the K-pop/ Alt-pop genre- i am SOOOO here for it. the music evokes so many different emotions from busy excitement all the way to sweet nostalgia. This is one of my favourite K-pop releases from 2024.

ALSO LOVE THIS- similarly to my last review- this music is perfect for easy listening. However it has more of an indie rock feel than their previous EP as it includes more hard hitting upbeat songs. I absolutely adore the harmonies and vocal layering in this album it is so well arranged and mixed.

Their vocal blend is literally perfect and i LOVE how they have arranged the harmonies in their music. the soothing instrumentals are perfect for easy quiet listening. I can imagine using this EP for studying, morning walks, or as background noise at home.

I ADORE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH- The vocals are SO crisp and clean and they blend so well together- likely because they're siblings- BUT STILL. My favourite Tracks are definitely Lotus and Comedy!!

I genuinely loved this album. It's unlike anything I've listened to before as I am not familiar with synth-pop but I enjoyed every song.
