I'm on a K-Hip-Hop kick right now, and I felt like listening to Kisum. This is basically the same situation as 12 and Walkin' Vol.1, where I liked 1 song (in this case, Yeah Yeah) and decided to listen to the rest of the album.
I'd say this was pretty good: it's a basic summer album with a Kisum-y twist. Some of the tracks may be generic, but Kisum makes what would usually be a bland summer song into something pretty good. The last 2 tracks deviate from that summery theme and go into ... read more
After listening to the 11 track hole that is 12, I needed something better, so I decided to listen to Walkin' Vol.1. I had already listened to I Get Lifted, and thought it was good, so I decided to listen to that. Thank god the same thing didn't happen twice.
This is what I wanted from 12: an album where all of the tracks are good, don't feel too long, are all groovy and where even the intro is good. The only downside is that Day N Night feels like it could be cut out with no problem, but ... read more
This was a disappointment.
I thought this was gonna be good, considering I had heard Dali, Van, Picasso before this. Time Travel was a pretty good start, but after that...only Being Myself and Dali, Van, Picasso held up. All the tracks feel excessively long, with Imagine Time and Flexin' being the epitome of this, and I had to take a break halfway through because I couldn't stand it.
But I did it. I finished the album.
But for what?
You.

TWICE is here, and I don't have a problem with it. All the tracks are acceptable (catchy, even) - but there's one problem.
IT DOESNT SOUND LIKE TWICE AT ALL.
Fancy You didn't have that problem with most of it's tracks, but Feel Special has that problem with ALL OF THEM. Love Foolish sounds like Miss A, Rainbow sounds like it could be given to LOONA, Trick It to Everglow, 21:29 to early CLC, etc. There's something missing, and to complete it, we don't need TWICE.

I didn't think Superhuman was going to be bad, even if the reason was the same as why I picked MAD (ooh, that rhymed). I don't regret listening to this.
NCT 127 usually makes great music, with their title tracks and b-sides both being (usually) great. Because of me feeling like I want to listen to Superhuman (which was a great track), I decided to listen to it. Even with my experiences before, it couldn't be that bad, right?
It wasn't that bad. It was even better.
Every track seems like it ... read more
