Midnight Sun (album) doesn’t hold a candle to Midnight Sun, the second single of the homonym album. The title track has a whole different aura, listening to it just resonates like a sparkling “fzzt!” of a juicy can opened under the golden hour of a breezy summer day. The rest of the record is more like the dull and bland flavor of a soda that has gone flat: past its prime, weakened in taste. The short Scandi-pop body of work infuses elements of dance and EDM with some intent ... read more
Intrigued by several reviews of this album, I approached this niche artist whose timbre I didn’t even know before tonight. It ended up being a very underwhelming listen. I found myself in a spiritless version of Bey’s Renaissance, with repetitive instrumentals and melodies… cohesive? yes, but only in the way a sticky dough could be.

This album exudes artistry and the desire to create an album with a complete concept and ... read more
I was very excited to get to listen to this album and holy sh*t, this was an incredible record! The first time I listened to Florence was on the Taylor Swift collaboration "Florida!!!" and since then I was truly looking for more of her music, and "Everybody Scream" was just right there waiting to be released. What a blessing to witness such artistry, her pen is insanely inspiring, you can almost feel her songwriting from how richly expressed it is. It’s all enhanced by ... read more
