ARCTIC MONKEYS REVIEW #6: TBH&C

YOOOO this shit is fire. Was for a time my favourite album EVER. Not anymore but it is still a masterpiece and I stand by it. Those first 4 tracks are unbeatable, Golden Trunks really brings the album down but Four Out Of Five really brings the pace back up, and the rest of the tracks are amazing too. THE ULTRACHEESE MY BELOVED.

Best Songs: Anything that isn't Golden Trunks.

ARCTIC MONKEYS REVIEW #5: AM

Ohhh boy this album is MID as fuck. there are a handful of bangers (like 2-3), a few mediocre or okay songs and a few ASS ones. What were the boys thinking with this vanilla ass, basic ass, walmart radio ass album. Mad Sounds is a banger though and I'll stand by that.

ARCTIC MONKEYS REVIEW #4: SIAS

Genuinely some of my favourite love songs ever written are on this album, gets way too much hate than it deserves, not a single bad song (except MAYBE Brick By Brick), even the filler songs (and you can tell which songs are filler) are at least fun and exciting to listen to. Second half is better though.

Best songs: She's Thunderstorms, The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala, Piledriver Waltz, Love Is a Laserquest, Suck It And See, That's Where You're ... read more

ARCTIC MONKEYS REVIEW #3: HUMBUG

Thanks to the help of QOTSA frontman Josh Homme, the Sheffield Quad have adopted a more sludgier sound with a more consistent quality than FWN (thanks to the absence of songs like The Bad Thing), the album final track The Jewellers Hands gives us a sneak peek into what the band would do later in their career.

Best songs: Crying Lightning, Secret Door, Pretty Visitors, The Jewellers Hands

ARCTIC MONKEYS REVIEW #2: FWN

After such an amazing and literal record-breaking debut album, most bands would slip up on the sophomore album. While this isn't as good as "Whatever People Say I Am...", this was still a really good listen and some of these songs much like the songs on the previous album are generational classics (The Bad Thing will NOT be one of them).

Best Songs: Brianstorm, Fluorescent Adolescent, Only Ones Who Know, Old Yellow Bricks
