Each verse is similar and different enough to be noticeable and not. Great song to listen while studying
Catchy melody and chorus while giving off a melancholy feeling. Enjoyable to listen.
Not as catchy as "Born Yesterday" but the song is still an amazing listening experience.
Beautiful vocals and production. Only thing holding the song back is the first verse, the tone didn't really fit the piano playing in the background.
"Minnesota is a place that exists" 7/10
The vocals doesn't match the guitars and is honestly just a downgrade of the original song
"I'll follow you into the dark" 9/10
A great cover of the original song, the only downside being the underwhelming drop
Sad boy makes good music.
To simply put, a polished version of "From me to you"
The soft voiced style from Aldn gives the entire album a unique sound and atmosphere.
Favorites: What was the last thing you said, Glttr and Precious
I wasn't a fan of the change in style when I first listened to it, but it grew on me later on.
Favorites: Do or Die, Bargaining, Sink
It feels like a conflicted battle between multiple genres, with each one trying to be as loud as possible. There's still some enjoyable songs in the middle of the mess though.
Favorites: Fuck this town, Physs, Heather and Cloak n Dagger
Least Favorite: Pretending
The album sounds like a mainstream version of his usual style, but it's also sounds more mature compared to his previous albums. Overall solid but nothing too special.
Also the songs sound way too similar.
