Review #9 - Pinkerton
I've just accepted that I am absolutely terrible at emphasizing my love (or hate) for things, so I'm just gonna go for it. This album's great. And it also differs from the Blue Album in about every way (besides the virgin part, that's pretty much the exact same), but wait, that albums also great, how does that work? Well, the best way to explain is to say that The Blue Album's clean, and we all love the Blue Album (for the most part), and Pinkerton's dirty, but we still ... read more
Review #8 - A Collection of Little Ditties:
This isn't funny...
Favorite Track: A Little Ditty
Least Favorite Track: A Little Ditty
Hey guys did you see what I did with the favorite/least favorite aren't I humorous?
Review #7 - Trout Mask Replica:
I started this album at about 12 in the morning, forced myself to listen to the first hour, turned it off and went to bed and finished in the morning. God this album is ass. I genuinely don't understand how this is something people relisten to, I have so many questions. The fucking critic reviews here look like jokes. I don't know what to do, this is awful. Just writing about this makes me itchy.
Favorite Track: Sweet Sweet Bulbs
Least Favorite Track: Orange ... read more
Review #6 - Weezer (Blue Album):
I'm not entirely afraid to say that Weezer's my favorite band, I mean, I'm not PROUD saying it, it's just kinda, a thing. I haven't listened to them in a while. But I'm just gonna put down reviews for all their albums based off of how I remember enjoying them, I've relistened to all of them a few times so I think I'm good. But onwards with the review!
This album's good, like really, really good. It's quite frankly the definition of virgincore if that's an ... read more
Review #5 - Playground Psychotics:
I don't entirely know why I decided to listen to this as my first Frank Zappa album. But I did. And I'm probably not gonna listen to it again. This pretty much is just a bunch of audio clips of random conversations had during the filming of 200 Motels, that's already kind of an iffy concept, but there are also random live performances including "Billy the Mountain" which is 30 MINUTES long. Some parts of it are good but mainly I was just waiting for ... read more
EDIT: This single's no longer called fart, damn.
Review #4 - fart:
It's honestly insane to me that this is isn't terrible ear-rotting garbage, 10 extra points for it genuinely baffling me when I pressed play. The production's not terrible, don't like the autotune and there's quite frankly nothing else to say here so yeah coo.
Review #3 - 40 Years of Joy:
Quite frankly remember nothing about this album, all I remember is that I was very confused when they were speaking a foreign language and looked it up and realized it's because Jollibee's Filipino. And apparently there super open about it too, but there's not really any way I would know since the closest Jollibee's is 4 HOURS away. Meaning that of course I was hear from Toasterqueen and of course I didn't understand any of the shit I was hearing. I was just in a ... read more
Review #2 - VULTURES 1:
I'm just gonna (attempt to) completely step aside Kanye as a person when writing this review, either way, this is still shit. Not entirely sure if it helped that I listened to it during math class at school but that's besides the point. Either way, the addition of Kanye's vocals did nothing to this album, if anything it's just downgrading it. Also, I genuinely enjoy Ty's vocals, I think their really good actually. But it clashes with Kanye's in a nasty way. The best way ... read more
Review #1 - All The Toppings:
Aw fuck. Where do I even start. I made this account a few months ago but decided now is the time to do literally anything. Why? I don't know, just felt like it. This album is a love-hate relationship. However one where, the love, heavily outweighs the hate. I think it goes without saying, but Lou Diamond is a fucking creep. And nothing's gonna make me think differently. So in the last few months of me constantly relistening to this any chance I get. I separate all ... read more
