im so glad i got to listen this right when it dropped, even though i was too tired to write a review immediately after. side note, listening with other ppl definitely improves an experience, no matter what. it was also crazy listening without knowing who the features were, because they definitely surprised me (i definitely did not expect an opium artist to be on this). also very surprised that ye wasnt even a feature or even a producer for this project, considering how close they've been, ... read more

back to this series after dropping it for a while, here to pick it back up where i left off. with the fact that i didnt like the tortured poets department, 1989, or midnights that much, which were the only taylor swift albums i'd heard up to this point (also part of this series), i thought that i wouldn't like this one that much. this project originally released in 2008, with the rerelease coming 13 years later, and i guess she just made ... read more
okay, yall are seriously underrating this album. for the first seven tracks, chance performs exceptionally well, with amazing production along with energetic and focused performances. for the first half, i was holding out hope that chance could go perfect, and make a holy grail of an album to redeem himself. unfortunately, a few tracks in the second half weigh this down, but overall, it's still a great project that deserves him gaining the title of "comeback king." i'd also ... read more
im not sure why this isnt getting the same treatment and viewpoint as vultures 2, cause it's clearly a downgrade from the original, and it also has some half assed tracks mixed with actual really good ones. its also odd that 530 was still added here even though it was already released on the aforementioned album, and IM SORRY but i do prefer that version cause the second verse is pretty good even though its clearly ai. the best songs here are city of god (which had already been out as a ... read more
i actually think this is one of the most underrated projects of the year so far, the production is pretty good (not being perfectly mixed is just part of the aesthetic btw) and some of these tracks actually have a really high replay value. although some songs couldve definitely been improved (if shyne had a better chorus and if florida flow was a minute and a half shorter), this is still pretty solid. all the jackboys didnt necessarily put forth their best effort, but it was good enough to be ... read more
after hearing the intro, i was almost certain that this was gonna be better than its predecessor, but after getting through the whole thing, i cant really say it is. i havent posted a review for the original alfredo yet (stay tuned), but it overall has more consistent tracklisting, even though it doesnt have as high of highs as this. still a great album, but also a little overrated.
